A Norristown, Pa., man who was allegedly stopped for speeding on Route 1 Aug. 30. He was allegedly found to be a wanted person from Pennsylvania. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center to await extradition to Pennsylvania.
Two Trenton women were charged with shoplifting, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a shoplifting device at the HomeSense store on Nassau Park Boulevard Aug. 26. The women allegedly shoplifted $379.97 worth of merchandise from the store. They were also allegedly found to have narcotics and a security tag remover in their possession. They were processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.
A Trenton man was charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Target on Nassau Park Boulevard Aug. 14. He allegedly concealed a cart full of merchandise in shopping bags valued at a combined $353.81, went to the checkout lane and paid for just two of the small items. He was also allegedly found to have drug paraphernalia in his possession. He was processed and released.
A Lumberton man was charged with burglary and theft from a Penns Neck neighborhood home Aug. 12. He allegedly broke into the home on June 29 and stole nearly $20,000 worth of jewelry and other property. He is currently being held in Georgia in an unrelated incident.
A Trenton man was charged with shoplifting at the Target on Nassau Park Boulevard Aug. 10. He allegedly filled a shopping cart with items worth a combined $446.30, went to the self-checkout lane and paid for just one of the items valued at $10.37. He was processed and released.
Two Trenton women were charged with shoplifting at the Target on Nassau Park Boulevard Aug. 2. They allegedly filled two shopping carts full of merchandise valued at a combined $1,150.17, pushed them through the self-checkout lane without paying for the items. They were processed and released.
A Plainsboro Township man was charged with possession of heroin and was also found to have an outstanding warrant from Trenton Aug. 1. Police responded to a call for a man who appeared to be intoxicated and in need of help at the bus stop on Nassau Park Boulevard. He allegedly had 18 decks of heroin in his possession. He was processed and released.
A Lawrence Township man was charged with driving while intoxicated July 30. Police were called to the intersection of Canal Pointe Boulevard and Mayfair Drive for a pickup truck that was stopped and blocking the intersection. The driver was allegedly asleep behind the wheel of the pickup truck, and its engine and lights had been turned off. After he woke up, police determined that he was driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released.
