A 39-year-old Blackwood man and a 61-year-old Woodstown man were charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly leaving Walmart without paying for $390.61 worth of merchandise May 29. The Blackwood man was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and the Woodstown man was also charged with possession of crack cocaine. One man was processed and released and the other man was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center for outstanding warrants from other towns.
A 29-year-old Lawrence Township resident was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking items worth $243.06 from Walmart without paying for them May 28. The person was processed and released.
A 58-year-old Hamilton Township man was charged with driving under the influence and drug offenses after his vehicle veered off Old York Road and struck a mailbox and a tree May 27. He was also charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper use of a prescription drug, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, careless driving, reckless driving, having a suspended driver’s license and failure to maintain lane.
A 70-year-old Hightstown man was charged with driving under the influence, careless driving and reckless driving after police were alerted to a possibly intoxicated driver May 27. Officers located the man in the Galleria at Twin Rivers shopping center parking lot. He was processed and released.
A 29-year-old Plainsboro Township resident was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking items worth $286.37 from ShopRite without paying for them May 27. The person was processed and released.
A 46-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with theft for allegedly stealing a bicycle form the front porch of a Williamson Court home May 26. Police were provided with a description of the suspect and located him allegedly riding the stolen bicycle a short distance away. He was processed and released.
