Hopewell Township Police blotter

A Hamilton Township resident was charged with driving under the influence after police investigated a call for a driver asleep in a vehicle on Baker Way June 12. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was processed and released.

A former employee was reported to have been trespassing at a business on Route 31 June 8. The caller reported that the former employee was not allowed on the premises, but had left before police arrived.

A Mount Ephraim man was charged with assault after he allegedly assaulted a patron at the Subway sandwich shop on Tree Farm Road June 8. He was processed and released.

Police responded to a Crusher Road home June 7 on the report of someone trespassing on the property. The suspect’s vehicle was believed to have been identified by the caller. The investigation is ongoing.

A Trenton man was charged with driving under the influence after he was stopped for speeding on Route 31 near Ingleside Avenue June 1. He was processed and released.

A Brick Township man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Hunterdon County following a motor vehicle stop for failure to wear his seatbelt on West Broad Street May 31. He was processed and turned over to the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Department.
