Elijah’s Promise ‘Eat for a Cause’ begins Sept. 22

Elijah’s Promise, New Brunswick, will offer “Eat for a Cause-Guest Chef” cooking class this fall at Promise Jobs Culinary School Kitchen, Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick. The programs offer donors a food experience while raising funds for the soup kitchen. Featured chefs are Will Mooney, owner of The Brothers Moon, Hopewell; Walter Leffler, former chef for U.S. presidents; Willie Stafford of Delta’s, New Brunswick; and Lourdes Escalante who owns a catering company. Chefs and classes will be: Will Mooney, Sept. 22; Walter Leffler, Oct. 27; Willie Stafford, Nov. 3; and Lourdes Escalante, Dec. 1. All programs are 6-8:30 p.m.
