Jewish Family and Vocational Service of Middlesex County (JFVS), in cooperation with the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW)-Edison, will coordinate a community effort to provide Rosh Hashana food packages for families in need of assistance in northern Middlesex County.
Donations of nonperishable food are sought. Specific times needed include coffee, borsht, horseradish, grape juice, honey, chicken soup, applesauce, fine noodles, tea bags, Shabbot candles and Yahrzeit glasses. Monetary contributions would be especially appreciated to augment the food collection. Tax-deductible checks may be made out to JFVS Rosh Hashana Food Fund and mailed to JFVS, 515 Plainfield Ave., Suite 201, Edison, NJ 08817.
