The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation is conducting a tai chi program. The session will be held Wednesdays from March 17 through May 5 from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
The fee for the class is $40 per person for the eight-week session. All classes will be held at the Ocean County Park, Beach Complex, Route 88, Lakewood.
Those who join the class will learn the movements of the "Yank Style Short" form. According to the press release, improved balance and coordination, flexibility and reduced stress levels are some of the benefits derived from the practice of t’ai chi ch’uan.
