The scholarship is awarded annually to children of active or retired professional firefighters. Krakovsky’s father, Brian, is a member of Linden Fire Department, Local 34. The NJFMBA, which is based in Rahway, is a 107-year-old professional association for New Jersey’s 5,400 career firefighters.
Christine Krasa of Brick has received a bachelor of science degree summa cum laude in business information technology from the R.B. Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), Blacksburg. The commencement ceremony was held May 14.
