Manalapan Animal Clinic & Hospital has again received accreditation following a comprehensive evaluation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). The evaluation includes a quality assessment review of the hospital’s facility, medical equipment, practice methods, and pet health care management.
Only 12 percent of all small animal veterinary practices in the U.S. have achieved accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association, according to the press release. In order to maintain accredited status, Manalapan Animal Clinic & Hospital must continue to be evaluated regularly by the association’s trained consultants.

Schoor DePalma, an engineering and consulting firm headquartered in Manalapan, announced that Nick Verderese of Freehold Township has been promoted to the position of principal and vice president of the firm. Verderese, a registered professional engineer in New Jersey, is the department manager in the firm’s Traffic Engineering Department in Manalapan.
Verderese has 16 years of experience involving both private and municipal projects. He managed and performed traffic engineering and highway design projects involving transportation planning, highway improvements and resurfacing, and bridge inspections and designs. He previously held the position as consultant to the city of Hoboken Transpor-tation Authority and served as the traffic planning engineer for the preparation of the transportation element of the South Secaucus Transportation Planning Study for Hudson County. He currently serves as the traffic engineer for a number of municipalities in the state of New Jersey.
Verderese received his bachelor of science in civil engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and an associate member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
The company also announced that Daniel Frank of Howell has been promoted to the position of principal and vice president of the firm. Frank is a senior project manager in the firm’s Highway Department and a registered professional engineer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Frank has more than 22 years of experience in the management and design of highway projects and intersection improvements. His engineering experience is in transportation engineering and design, including concept development, final scope development, preliminary and final design, and construction document administration.
He began his career at Schoor DePalma in 1996 as a project manager in the Highway Department. He earned a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
