During the month of August, music lovers will be treated to entertaining concerts sponsored by the Little Silver Recreation Committee, mayor and Borough Council. For the first time, the free concerts will be staged at 7 p.m. at the newly built “Butch” Ryser Memorial Patio behind the municipal building overlooking Borough Field.
Families should bring their own blanket and lawn chairs.
Quincy Mumford & The Reason Why will return home to the Shore on Aug. 17 after touring the country promoting their fifth album, “It’s Only Change.”
Mumford’s original sound is a blend of pop, funk, rhythm and blues, reggae and surf rock.
Closing out the series on Aug. 24 will be the local teen rock group, Stone Bullets.
