The Rumson Garden Club and the Rumson Shade Tree Commission are co-hosting a lecture by Bruce Crawford, the director of Rutgers University’s garden, on Native American and British species of hollies at 4 p.m. Dec. 2. Crawford will discuss why hollies are ideal for the Two River environment. The lecture is free and open to the public and will take place at Bingham Hall on Bingham Avenue in Rumson.
