Obituaries Patricia Schaab

Mrs. Schaab, 77, of Manalapan, died Aug. 18 at Fletcher Allen Memorial Hospital, Vermont. Born in Carona, Long Island, N.Y., she had been a resident of Monmouth County since 1960. Mrs. Schaab was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Perrineville section of Millstone. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Mary Kate. Surviving are her husband, Robert Schaab; two sons, Robert M. Schaab of Trumbull, Conn., and Michael Schaab of Hillsborough; a daughter, Marianne Hill of Millstone; three sisters, Joan Gorycki of Douglaston, N.Y., Marguerite DeLay of Flushing, N.Y., and Miriam Nolan of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and eight grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, followed by interment at the parish cemetery, Perrineville. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

Lillian Wilson Hendrickson

Mrs. Hendrickson, 87, of Freehold, died Aug. 17 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Freehold, she was a lifelong resident and a member of the Reformed Church of Freehold. She was predeceased by a brother, Harry Wilson, and a granddaughter, Erika Hernquist. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Lydon Hendrickson; two daughters, Lois Ann Hernquist of St. Clair Shores, Mich., and Carol Hendrickson Giammetti of Freehold; two grandsons; two great-grandsons; and a niece and nephew. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Reformed Church of Freehold. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Caroline A. Verbarg-Rothrock

Mrs. Verbarg-Rothrock, 71, of Freehold, died Aug. 17 at home. Born in Indianapolis, she had lived in Madison before moving to Freehold five years ago. A graduate of Indianapolis’ Broad Ripple High School and Butler University, she was an administrator for the state of New Jersey, Mount Arlington, prior to retiring and had previously been a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines. She was predeceased by a brother, Carl Verbarg Jr. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Charles F. III and Deborah Rothrock of Colts Neck; a sister, Barbara Maddox of Indiana; and two granddaughters. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. James Joseph Nola

Mr. Nola, 60, of Freehold Township, died Aug. 18 at home. Born and raised in Staten Island, N.Y., he had lived in Jackson for 15 years before moving to Freehold Township in January. Mr. Nola was the owner of Aamco Transmissions in Marlboro for the past 25 years. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by his wife, Alyse Gitlin Nola; three daughters, Michelle Nola and Jessica Nola, both of Freehold, and Danielle Brzyski of Ocean Grove; and three grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Staten Island.
