Mr. Kennedy, 76, of Brick and formerly of Rumson, died Dec. 25, 2011, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. He was a circulation zone manager for the Asbury Park Press in Asbury Park until his retirement in 1991. Mr. Kennedy was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn, in November, 1980, and a sister, Lois Klotzin. Surviving are his longtime partner, Carolyn Atcheson; a son, William R. Jr. of Bethlehem, Pa.; a daughter, Senga Lynn Passaro of Atlantic Highlands; a brother, Howard Kennedy of Barnegat; and five grandchildren. A funeral service was celebrated at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. Interment followed at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
