Monmouth Medical Center names trustees

LONG BRANCH — Monmouth Medical Center announced the appointment of James G. Aaron, John Brockriede, Bruce Kramer, Robert P. Herrmann and Gerald C. Marrone to its board of trustees, and Anthony P. Terracciano, longtime member of the board, as chairman.

Marrone, of Red Bank, is the immediate past chair of the Monmouth Medical Center Foundation board and served as chief administrative officer for Quest Diagnostics prior to his retirement.

Terracciano, Sea Girt, has served on the medical center’s board of trustees since 2002. Since 2008 he has held the position of chairman of Sallie Mae Inc. He also has served in top management positions at First Union Corp., First Fidelity Bank Corp., Mellon Bank Corp. and Chase Manhattan Bank Corp.

Aaron, of West Long Branch, is a partner in the Ocean Township law firm of Ansell Zaro Grimm & Aaron.

Brockriede, of Long Branch, is returning to the board after a one-year hiatus. He is currently the president and managing partner of Monmouth Enterprises in Long Branch.

Kramer, of Millburn, is a partner with J.H. Cohn and a member of the firm’s Medical Industry Practice. Herrmann, of Rumson, is chairman, CEO and president of Discovery Company.
