Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation (JSJBF) will hold an education program fundraiser 8:30-11 p.m. Jan. 23 at The Woman’s Club of Red Bank, 164 Broad St.

Featured will be blues educator, musician, singer and guitarist T.J. Wheeler, and special guests. The JSJBF Youth Project will also perform.

A comedy night for the Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue will be held Jan. 24 at the Town & Country Diner, Keyport. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. Comedians Eric McMahon, Matt Christmas and Ted Daniels will perform. The Woman’s Club of Little Silver is holding a 50/50 raffle to support its project to raise funds for telephone cards for soldiers serving in Iraq. Raffle books are $10 per book of five or $2 per single ticket. The drawing will be held the first week of May. The Garden Club of Fair Haven has announced it will add a garden tour to its annual plant sale this spring on May 30 (rain date is May 31). Five gardens will be featured as well as a tour of Fair Haven’s bird sanctuary. A variety of perennials will be available for sale at the Fair Haven Firehouse and refreshments will be served. Tour tickets are available in advance for $15, or $20 the day of the event. The club’s next meeting will be held at noon Feb. 4 at the Fair Haven Youth Center.
