Allentown library golf outing is a success once again

On behalf of the Allentown Public Library Association, I would like to thank the entire Allentown-Upper Freehold-Millstone Township community for its support of our recent golf outing at the Cream Ridge Golf Club.

This year the golf outing raised more than $11,700 for the library’s operating expenses. The outing was attended by 123 golfers, and sponsorships and prizes were donated by numerous community businesses and organizations.

I wish to extend special thanks to the Yardville National Bank, which donated $2,500 as our outing sponsor.

The staff at the Cream Ridge Golf Club and Greens Cafe were extremely helpful and gracious to both the planners and attendees at this year’s event.

Without the extra efforts of Peter Pantages, this event would never have become the financial success it is. Peter is truly a wonderful friend of the library.

Thank you, Allentown, Upper Freehold and Millstone for continuing your support of the Allentown Public Library. And thank you, Allentown Public Library board members, for pitching in, once again.
