Blues ensemble Terraplane Blues celebrated the release of their second self-produced record, "Jubilee Stomp," in triumphant fashion last Sunday at their packed "hometown juke joint," The Walt St. Pub.

The CD release party was a special treat for their loyal and growing base of fans that have come to be thought of as family by the band. The audience is always treated with the same respect that these musicians extend to the many great blues artists who have inspired and colored their sound.

That is the spirit in which this new release is presented to the public. It is a gift of joy, delivered with the same passion that you would experience at any of their performances. A glorious celebration of the history and continued evolution of a genre that has influenced everything that has followed it. The material is presented with the authenticity and precision of these inspired musicians led by Gary and Jennifer Wright.

The evening was a raucous yet spiritual experience, engaging and inclusive of listeners, fellow musicians, friends and fans. The audience as always, was embraced by the musical intensity they bring in the true spirit of the blues. That is why Terraplane Blues is so well received wherever they play.
