Rutgers University senior William Dennis, of West Long Branch, was a double winner in the 100 (57.73) and 200 breaststroke (2:07.16) during the Scarlet Knights’ win over Connecticut on Nov. 8.
The College of New Jersey women’s field hockey team earned their 19th trip to the NCAA semifinals, which was held on Sunday at Lebanon Valley College, Amityville, Pa. The Lions are looking for their 10th NCAA crown, with the last coming in 1999.
Senior tri-captain Jackie Levy, of Long Branch, who is third in the scoring race with 14 points on five goals and four assists, was also selected to both the All-South Atlantic Region First and the ALL-NJAC teams for the second time in her career.
