The Epiphany House of Asbury Park, a home for recovering women addicts with children, is sponsoring a benefit concert at the First Presbyterian Church in Red Bank on Friday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m.

Performers include the Monmouth University Chorus & Music Ensemble, and the Colts Neck Reformed Church "Jubilation!" Choir and Celebration Ringers.

The West Long Branch Public Library, 95 Poplar Ave., is showing "Impressions of New York" by artist Warren Satter, of Elberon, through Oct. 30.

The Allen and Joan Bildner Center for the Study of Jewish Life at Rutgers University, New Brunswick/Piscataway, is offering educational programs on Israel. The programs deal with many aspects of Israeli history and culture.

From Nov. 6-16, The Rutgers New Jersey Jewish Film Festival: Films about Israel, will have a showing of "A Trumpet in the Wadi," "Exodus" and "Exodus 1947" at the Regal Cinema Commerce Center, North Brunswick.

On Nov. 16 at 3:30 p.m. at Trays Hall, Douglass College Center, there will be "A discussion in Hebrew about Jews and Arabs as characters in his novels," with the author, Sami Michael. The novels include "A Trumpet in the Wadi" and "Victoria." A reception will follow.

The second annual Timothy Neylon Memorial Art Exhibit at the FoodBank of Monmouth & Ocean, Route 66, Neptune, will be held on Oct. 17 from 5-8 p.m. and Oct. 18 from 1-4 p.m.

Neylon, Brick, was confined to a wheelchair due to muscular dystrophy, but did not let it keep him from his strong desire to express himself through art.

"Watercolors" by Tom Wilczewski, Long Branch, will be featured, along with photographs by Joseph Garon, Wall, and digital arts and imaging by Peter Cohen, Toms River.

Red Bank Chamber Music Society announces its fifth season of free concerts. On Oct. 26 at 3 p.m., the Monmouth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Roy Gussman, will perform Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, French Horn and Orchestra at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank.

All other concerts will be at 8 p.m. on Saturdays, at the Red Bank Middle school on Branch Avenue.

On Oct. 12 at 11:30 a.m., the Monmouth Symphonic League is holding its annual luncheon-Musicale, a major fund-raising event in support of the Monmouth Symphony Orchestra celebrating its 55th year, at the Deal Golf and Country Club.

The Unlimited Potential Theater Company offers Fall Poetry Workshop Series for adults, ages 16 and over, at the South Brunswick Municipal Building in Monmouth Junction.

The eight-session course is held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7-9 p.m. on Oct. 14, 16, 23, 28 and 30, and Nov. 6, 11 and 13.

John Chorazy, who has been the editor of "The Ever Dancing Muse," a semiannual poetry publi­cation, since 1993, will be teaching the courses.

The UPTCo was founded by VSA/NJ to expand the opportuni­ties for young people and adults with physical disabilities to partic­ipate in all aspects of the theater arts in New Jersey.

The 32nd semi-annual Juried American Indian Arts Festival will take place at the Rankokus Indian Reservation in Westhampton Town­ship on Oct. 11-13.

Many tribes are coming together for this event, which will provide non-stop enter­tainment, and indigenous food such as caribou and alligator!

There will be American Indian celebrities, traditional performers and demonstrations of ancient techniques such as silversmithing, and drum and pottery making at the 350-acre, wooded reservation, which contains an American In­dian Heritage Museum, a tradi­tional woodland ancestral village and self-guided nature trails.

On Oct. 11, from noon to 7 p.m., Harry’s Roadhouse, 662 Cookman Ave, Asbury Park, is offering its first annual Guinness Oysterfest, outdoors on Cookman between Bond Street and Press Plaza, to benefit the Asbury Park Recre­ation Fund and Senior Citizen As­sociation. Admission is free.

Harry’s will open at 10 a.m. for a traditional Irish breakfast, along with a bagpipe kick-off salute. There will be many Irish musicians performing.

The Atlantic Artisans LLC is de­lighted to exhibit "One Man Show," featuring the photography of Tom McGuire, on Nov. 7 from 5-9 p.m.

The show will run Nov. 7-30, Tuesdays through Thursdays from 12-6 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 12-8 p.m., and Sundays from 12-3 p.m. Appointments can also be made.

Tom McGuire passed away on May 9 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is best known for his Jersey Shore photography.

Fea­tured at the show will be some of his "never-seen-photography," as well as some of his oldies-but-good­ies.

The Monmouth Museum, at Brookdale campus in Lincroft, pre­sents Wahoo Medicine Show & Phydeaux’s Flying Flea Circus on Oct. 19 from 2-4 p.m. for children age 6-12.

The first, "Turning over a New Leaf," will be on Oct. 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

"Art on the Move" will be on Nov. 6 from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., and "The Art of Approaching the Holi­days" will be on Dec. 11 from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.
