The first Jazzbury Park Festival will take place Oct. 17 at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
The event will run from 3 to 8 p.m. and will feature the contemporary jazz of Nu-Horizon, jazz standards by the Palmer Jenkins Quartet, the Latin Salsa rhythms of Ray Rodriguez Y Swing Sabroso, jazz guitarist Jerry Topinka, and vocalist Chelsea Palermo, and other talented young musicians.
Proceeds will benefit the Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation. Suggested donation is $20 for adults at the door or $15 online, in advance; $10 for teens, seniors and students, and free for children under age 12.
