The new Shrewsbury municipal building, now under construction, should be ready for borough employees to move into no later than the second week of January, according to Councilman Terel Cooperhouse. He said Scott Tormee, the contractor, has advised him that he expects to be out of the building by the end of December. The council is toying with the idea of putting off the annual re-organization meeting until it can be held in the new building. It also is looking into whether the re-organization meeting can be held in the new building even though it isn’t ready to be occupied.
