The Middlesex County 200 Club will sponsor its Used Clothing Collection 9 a.m.-2 p.m. July 20 at the Middlesex County Fire Academy, 1001 Fire Academy Drive, Sayreville.
Proceeds from the drive will support the club’s college scholarships for children of fire department, police department and emergency medical service personnel.
Merchandise sought includes men’s and women’s wearable and usable clothing, belts and handbags; bedding, curtains and towels; shoes (bag separately); stuffed animals and soft toys; hard toys (maximum size 24 inches by 24 inches); luggage and small rugs.
All donated items should be placed in tightly tied large plastic bags. Merchandise also may be placed inside used luggage. Toys should be placed inside 24-by-24 inch boxes.
