Ms. Battaglia, 42, of South Amboy, died Dec. 24, 2011, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Livingston, she had resided in SouthAmboy for most of her life and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, South Amboy. She was predeceased by her mother, Joy J. Battaglia, in 2007. Surviving are her father, Patsy Battaglia; a brother, Angelo Gerard Battaglia; and a niece, Joy Battaglia. Funeral services were held at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville, followed by aMass at St. Mary’s Church. Burial took place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
