The Brandeis University National Women’s Committee (BUNWC) Tri- County Chapter will feature the program, “Cross Cultural Comparison: The Latino World and Ours,” at its general meeting to be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 21 at the Robbinsville Branch Library, 42 Robbinsville-Allentown Road, Robbinsville.
Michael Aaron Rockland, a professor of American Studies at Rutgers University, will present the program. His early career began in the U.S. Diplomatic Service where he was a cultural attaché in both Argentina and Spain. In addition, he is the author of 12 books, three of which have received special recognition and has won five major teaching/lecturing awards, including the National Teaching Award in American Studies.
This program is offered through the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities and is open to the public.
