The Sayreville War Memorial High School (SWMHS) Band Parents Association will host the EXCEL-eration Indoor Winterguard Competition at 1 p.m. on April 6 in the high school gym, Washington Road.
The indoor color guard event, which involves dance and movement and is a mixture of flag, rifle and saber work performed to pretaped music, will feature 14 guard units from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The SWMHS high school marching unit’s indoor color guard, EXCEL-eration, will perform in exhibition.
Tickets cost $7 per person, $6 for senior citizens and students; children under age 5 will be admitted free of charge.
