The Millstone Township Women’s Organization has planned a fund-raiser that will benefit the American Red Cross.
"Because many residents in Millstone are looking for ways to help the victims of the tragic events of Sept. 11, the members of our club thought that we would host an evening that would unite our township for a very good cause," said Karen Schwartz, club president.
"Millstone for America" will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Oct. 20 at the Clarksburg Inn Pavilion, Route 524, Millstone. There will be a buffet dinner and an open bar, and patriotic attire is recommended. The donation is $50 per person.
For those who are unable to attend, the club will be selling flags to benefit the Red Cross before the event. Residents can sign the flags, which will decorate the inn.
