Young-adult book author to appear at O.B. Library

Teen-book author Lauren Myracle will be the featured presenter for children, young adults and their families at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 the Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.

Myracle has written many novels, including “ttfn,” “ttyl” and “l8r, g8r.” Her first novel, “Kissing Kate,” was selected as one of the American Library Association’s Best Books for Young Adults for 2004.

The Old Bridge Public Library won the author’s visit from the Young Adult Services Association (YALSA) of the American Library Association (ALA) for producing the program that best exemplified “Get Connected,” the theme for Teen Tech Week in March 2007.
