The South River East Brunswick Rotary Club Foundation is holding a Gift of Life fundraiser Sept. 22 at the Pines Manor in Edison The formal, seven-course dinner will feature the gourmet delicacies of seven well-known New Jersey chefs, live dinner music and a live auction.
The Gift of Life program helps children with congenital heart defects obtain lifesaving corrective heart surgery. Over the past 10 years, the Rotary Club has helped five children with corrective heart surgeries.
The Gift of Life is a not-for-profit humanitarian corporation formed by Rotary Clubs in New Jersey. The program is available to children, regardless of race, color or national origin, who meet financial need criteria.

Participating chefs are Jeffrey Rust of Jeffrey’s Restaurant, Westfield; Bruce Lefebvre of the Frog & Peach, New Brunswick; John Durna of Clydz, New Brunswick; Michael DeAngelis of Harvest Moon Brewery, New Brunswick; Scott Masciulli of Verdigre, New Brunswick; Chris Posner of Hannah & Masons, New Brunswick; and Jeff McNamara of Pines Manor, Edison.
