JACKSON — The James Volpe Foundation, founded in honor of James Volpe, a Jackson Memorial High School student who was killed in a motor vehicle accident in 2011, will host its second annual golf classic on June 17 at the Pine Barrens Golf Club, Jackson.
Activities will include a shoot-out competition, a closest-to-the-pin contest, awards presentations, silent gift auctions including sports memorabilia, raffles, and more.
Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon. The shotgun tournament will begin at 12:30 p.m. and is limited to 120 golfers. Entry fee is $200 per golfer, which includes a gift bag, lunch, 18 holes of golf and dinner.
