Elk Fest will be held 1-11 p.m. Aug. 6 at the New Egypt Elks Lodge,105 Lakewood Road, Plumsted. Ticket price of $25 for adults ages 18 and up, $10 for children ages 6-17, and free for ages 5 and under will include food, entertainment, draft beer and one raffle ticket (not sold separately/must be present to win). Multiple 50/50 raffles will be available throughout the day. Those who wish to stay the night may bring tents and/or campers. Advance notice must be given when purchasing tickets, due to limited overnight space. No campfires or outside alcohol will be permitted. “Not Your Same Old Tricky Tray Auction,” hosted by Bat Shalom Hadassah of Jackson-Howell, will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 9 at Le Bove Grande, Lakehurst. The tricky tray will feature only hand-picked, high-quality items plus lunch at a cost of $34 per person.
