Presbyterian church welcomes new pastor

Cornerstone Presbyterian Church has welcomed a new pastor, the Rev. Courtney B. Cromie. The new pastor was approved by the congregation on July 31, following the retirement of the Rev. Robert Morrison in January. Cromie’s most recent position was pastor-in-residence for Princeton Theological Seminary’s School of Christian Vocation and Mission. She has served as an associate pastor for congregations in Silver Spring, Md., Boca Raton, Fla., and Yorktown, Va.

Cornerstone services are held at the Christa McAuliffe Middle School, Jackson. The worship service is a lively blend of contemporary and traditional and people from all backgrounds are welcome. For the summer, there is one service at 10 a.m. Details: 732-928-2424.
