Niranjan Ramanand of Lakewood, a freshman at Monsignor Donovan High School, Toms River, was recently honored by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth and was presented with the Study of Exceptional Talent (SET) award for his outstanding achievement on the SAT. The SET award is given to students who score greater than 700 in SAT math and/or critical reading before 13 years of age. In June 2009, Ramanand scored greater than 700 in SAT math while in the seventh grade at Holy Family School in Lakewood.
