Mrs. Ali, 60, of Manalapan, died Oct. 7, 2012, at home. Born in Marina DiGioisa, Italy, she resided in Manalapan for more than 20 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Maria and Rocco Fionda; a brother, Domenic Fionda; three brothers-in-law, Giussepi Ali, Francesco Ali and Francesco Ali. Surviving are her husband, Nicola; three children and their spouses, Rosemarie and Daniel Petersen of Freehold, Silvia and Louis Orta of Manalapan and Melissa Ali of Manalapan; four siblings and their spouses, Rose and Tony Pugliesi of Howell, Celeste and Gino Felicitato of Brooklyn, N.Y., Anna and Thomas Sacchetti of Staten Island, N.Y., and Rocco Fionda of Staten Island; four grandchildren; several brothers and sisters-in-law; and many other family members. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan, followed by entombment at St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum, Freehold.
