Mr. Mango, 87, of Palm Harbor, Fla., died Oct. 9, 2012. He was born and raised in Plainfield and settled in Freehold Township with his family in 1966 after being transferred by his employer, Bell Laboratories, where he worked as a draftsman. In 1986, he retired and relocated to Florida. Mr. Mango was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Raffaella; two daughters, Georgiann Moroney of Freehold, and Patricia Mango of Howell; a son, Frank Mango of West Long Branch; three sisters, Louise Frattaruolo, Mildred Roberts, and Luella DeVine; and six grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, followed by interment at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.
