Mr. Dewhurst, 53, of Freehold Township, died Dec. 26, 2010, at home. Prior to retiring in 2001, he was employed as a stockbroker with La Branche Co., New York City. Surviving are his wife, Susan; three daughters, Elizabeth Frances, Christina Marie and Melissa Ryan, all of Freehold Township; two brothers, John “Ernie” of Old Bridge and Michael of Jackson; and five sisters, Kathleen Baggs, Patricia Uhl, Eileen Sucich, Suzanne Honan and Joanne Gioia. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by burial in the parish cemetery.
