Freehold Raceway officials have announced that a four-day-a-week live harness racing schedule will continue through January. According to Freehold Raceway General Manager Howard Bruno, the raceway, which is the oldest continually operating daytime harness racetrack in the country, will continue its Wednesday through Saturday schedule for the remainder of January. Racing will also be offered on Jan. 17 on the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
It is expected that the complete 2011 harness racing schedule will be announced later this month. Post time is 12:30 p.m. on all racing days.
Freehold Raceway is on Business Route 33 (Park Avenue) in Freehold.
