Mr. Lewis, 81, of Lakewood, died Oct. 17, 2010. He served in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army and was a volunteer fireman in Matawan. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Dorothy; two daughters and a son-in-law, Robin Rosenson, and Patti and Harold Sherman of Aberdeen; a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Angela Lewis of Matawan; and six grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown, Burlington County.
