Andrea Rarick, a founding consultant for Purely Gourmet, is sponsoring an open house Feb. 18 from 2-7 p.m. at her home in Jackson to benefit the Tomaino Children’s Fund.
The Tomaino children, Anthony, 8, Matthew, 5, and Laura Grace, 4, have the rare, incurable brain disease metachromatic leukodystrophy, (MLD). This disease was depicted in the movie “Lorenzo’s Oil.” They all require constant care and stem cell transplants.
