Mr. Watkins, 94, of Tinton Falls died April 30 at Kensington Court Assisted Living, Tinton Falls, where he resided. Born in New York City, he resided in Red Bank, and Florida for 28 years, prior to moving to Tinton Falls. He was a retired civilian machinist at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown. He was a member of the Masonic Temple, Atlantic Highlands. He was the oldest living firefighter and past fire chief of Relief Engine Company, Red Bank. He was also a former code enforcer and fire marshal. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Virginia Hurley Watkins; his children, Doug and Fran Watkins of Jackson, Bill and Pat Weber of Keyport, Bob and Joan Weber of North Carolina, Terrie Judd of California, Patti and Richie Brister of Fair Haven, and Frank "Dusty" Bublin of Little Silver; a brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Ann Watkins; a sister, Mildred Portune; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Helen May Terrell Hunt

Mrs. Hunt, 82, of Earlysville, Va., died May 10 at home. Born in Aberdeen, she was the daughter of the late Grace and Walter Van Brackle. She had lived in the Freehold area for most of her life and was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Lowell James Hunt. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Elsie and Kenneth Briggs of Stanardsville, Va.; a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Jr. and Gertrude Terrell of Howell; four sisters; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Ryan Funeral Chapel, Quinque, Va., with the Rev. Wendell Lamb officiating. Ryan Funeral Home, Quinque, was in charge of arrangements. Peter R. E. Lindstrom

Mr. Lindstrom, 67, of Manalapan died May 4 at home after a long battle with emphysema. Born in Jersey City, he had been a longtime resident of Manalapan, and wintered in Clearwater, Fla. He was a member of Teamsters Local No. 701 and was employed at Hermann Services, South Brunswick, and Stern Transport, Wall Township. Mr. Lindstrom served with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of the Cpl. Philip A. Reynolds Detachment Marine Corps League, Freehold, and a member and past commander of Molly Pitcher Post No. 434, American Legion, Englishtown. He was a 50-year member of Vasa Order of America, Gothiod Lodge No. 486, Vasa Park, Budd Lake; a former member of the Millhurst Fire Company, Manalapan; and a former manager of the Manalapan Little League. He was active in the Manalapan Junior Football program, was a former manager of the Olde Silver Tavern softball team and former manager of the Millhurst Tavern softball team. Mr. Lindstrom is survived by his wife of 47 years, Arlene Brouillard Lindstrom, and his children, Charles L., Douglas W. and Suzanne, all of Manalapan; and three grandchildren, all of Jackson. Memorial donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey, 1034 Salem Road, Union 07083. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

Rose J. Inveninato

Mrs. Inveninato, 82, of Howell died May 2 at home. Born in Potenza, Italy, she came to the United States in 1922 and had lived in Manhattan, N.Y., and Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Howell in 1987. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Joseph Inveninato; two daughters, Carol Ann LaGrega of Staten Island, N.Y., and Diane Lanfranchi of Marlboro; a brother, Nicholas Sassano of New York; two sisters, Florence Dolciaamore and Mariann Ferrara, both of California; and four grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold, followed by entombment at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery. C.H.T.
