Mrs. Terpack, 92, of Howell died April 24 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Guttenberg, she had lived there before moving in 1941 to Howell, where she was a parishioner of St. Veronica’s Roman Catholic Church. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Terpack was predeceased in 1970 by her husband, John, and in 1967 by a son, John Edward. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Reed of Howell; two brothers, John Obertlik of Howell and Edward Obertlik of Teaneck; a sister, Helen Dayton of Grand Island, N.Y.; and a grandson. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on April 30 for the Rite of Committal, followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Veronica’s Church, 4215 Route 9 north, Howell. Interment will take place at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.

William Frederick Palmer

Mr. Palmer, 71, of Kissimmee, Fla., died April 7 at home. Born in the Perrineville section of Millstone, he had lived in Jackson before moving to Florida 16 years ago. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He was also an exempt member of the Jackson Mills Volunteer Fire Company. He was predeceased in 1983 by his first wife, Beatrice Olson Palmer. Surviving are his wife, Theresa Satallante Palmer; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Jill Palmer of Jackson, and Kenny Palmer of Barboursville, Va.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Edward Lawrence of Cream Ridge, and Marybeth and Roy Malott of Toms River; a stepdaughter and her husband, Gina Fabian and Hector Ruiz of Kissimmee; a brother, Richard J. Palmer of Millstone; three sisters, Emma F. Palmer and Madelyn P. Gilbert, both of Millstone; and Elizabeth C. McCabe of Jackson; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian Church of Millstone, followed by interment at the church cemetery. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Ann Q. Colbert

Mrs. Colbert, 81, formerly of East Brunswick, died April 10 in Seal Beach, Calif. Prior to her retirement, she was per­sonnel director at Gusmer Corp., Lakewood. A daughter, Mary, died in 1988. Surviving are a daughter, Treacy of Long Beach, Calif.; a son, Richard of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; a sister, Janet Coursen of Princeton; a grandson; and several nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Barnabas Church, Long Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Hospice Foundation, 2601 Airport Drive, Suite 230, Torrance, CA 90505.

Marion Nagy Bowling

Mrs. Bowling, 61, of Howell Township died March 30 at home. She was born in Neptune City and lived in Lakewood before moving to Howell Township 25 years ago. She was a cook at ICCC Head Start Program, Howell Township for 15 years. Mrs. Bowling was a graduate of Neptune High School, class of 1960. She attended the Farmingdale Methodist Church, Farmingdale, where she was a fund-raiser for the church and a member of the Freewood Acres Fire Co. Auxiliary. She is survived by three sons, Ronald Bowling and his wife, Christine of Farmingdale; Walter Lippincott of Farmingdale; and Michael Bowling and his wife, Lisa of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; a daughter, Lisa Springer and her husband, Andrew of Lakehurst; a brother, Richard Cottrell of Wall Township; three sisters, Katherine Beyer and Carol Waterman, both of Florida; and Shirley Haberstroh of Sea Girt; and seven grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
