for conservation majors

Freehold Soil Conservation District will award three $1,000 college scholarships in 2004. The Neal W. Munch, Marvin "Macz" Clark, and Freehold Soil Conservation District scholarships are awarded annually to students majoring in a field related to conservation. The Munch and Clark scholarships have been awarded each year since 1979.

All applicants must be a New Jersey resident of Middlesex or Monmouth County; entering their junior or senior year of college in the fall of 2004; and majoring in a field related to the conservation of our natural resources, including but not limited to agriculture, conservation, environmental education, environmental science, forestry, geology, resource management, soil science, etc.
