The Lakewood Heritage Commission is inviting groups and residents of senior communities to tour its Heritage Museum at 655 Princeton Ave., Lakewood. Interested parties need not be Lakewood residents, according to commission Chairman, Sheldon Wolpin, who stated that anyone who wants to see a display of hundreds of Lakewood artifacts and memorabilia will be welcome to visit. The museum opened in September.
The museum hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. The museum will be closed on Sundays during July and August. Call (732) 920-4550 for reservations.
The heritage commission is also seeking volunteers to help research grants and perform data entry for the museum archives.
