Fright Fest Pet Parade
at Six Flags to benefit zoo
Popcorn Park Zoo, Lacey, and Six Flags Great Adventure Theme Park in Jackson will be holding the first Fright Fest Pet Parade Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. Pet owners are invited to dress their pets in the scariest Halloween costumes and join a massive parade of pets. Judges will issue prizes to the scariest pets on parade, which will include a free family pass to the theme park for the 2004 season. All domestic pets and those not requiring a possession permit will be welcome to join the costume parade. A registration fee of $10 is required and all fees will be donated to the Popcorn Park Zoo, a refuge for wildlife that are elderly, sick, abandoned or injured. All registered entrants will receive free passes to the zoo. To register in advance, call (732) 928-2000, ext. 2830, as space is limited.
