KEANSBURG — The Borough Council will present its inaugural Bayshore Irish Festival from noon to 6 p.m. on Aug. 2 at the waterfront in Keansburg.
The free, family-oriented event will celebrate the rich Irish heritage of the Bayshore communities and feature activities, entertainment and food, clothing and craft vendors.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs, but coolers are not permitted.
Music will be provided by traditional Irish musicians and bands, including Celtic Connection from Philadelphia and the Narrowbacks from New York.
Traditional Irish step dancing will be presented by the acclaimed Shea-Jennings School of Irish Dance.
