MIDDLETOWN — The township will hold a remembrance ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 11, at 8:46 a.m. at the Middletown World Trade Center Memorial Gardens in memory of the 37 residents who died in the World Trade Center tragedy.
The time marks the moment an airplane impacted the World Trade Center’s North Tower nine years ago. The simple service will include a wreath-laying ceremony followed by a reflective walk through the gardens, a township press release said. The ceremony will be held rain or shine.
The gardens are located at 36 Church St. next to the Middletown Arts Center. Visitors can park at the Middletown Train Station.
