Mrs. O’Toole, 82, of Hazlet, died Feb. 27, 2013, at home. She was born Margaret McDonnell on Dec. 19, 1930, in Balla, County Mayo, Ireland. In 1950, she relocated to New York City. In 1953, she and her husband, Martin, were married. In 1962, they settled in Hazlet to raise their family. She was a retired nurse’s aide at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. She was predeceased by her husband; and several sisters and brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Eileen O’Toole, of Manhattan, N.Y., and Nuala Laquidara and her husband, Frank, of Falmouth, Mass.; two sons, Brian O’Toole and his wife, Cathy, of Aberdeen, and Brendan O’Toole and his wife, Lori, of Henderson, Nev.; a sister, Teresa Cahill, of Woodside, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hazlet. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach, followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
