Mr. Tarantino, 82, a resident of Matawan for 17 years, died Dec. 17, 2011, in Holmdel. He worked as an ironworker for Grand Iron Works, Bronx, N.Y., for 30 years, retiring in 1983. Mr. Tarantino was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Tarantino, on Feb. 10, 2011. Surviving are a son and daughterin law, Ralph and Amy Tarantino of Middletown; a daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Kenneth Arango of Middletown; a brother, Angelo Tarantino; a sister, Rose Ullmann; and seven grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Mary’s Chapel, Middletown. Burial followed at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
