Mr. Conley, 75, of Union Beach, died Nov. 3, 2011, at his daughter’s home. He lived most of his life in Keansburg, retired to Florida in 1985, and returned to Union Beach in 2010. Mr. Conley retired from the state of New Jersey as a heavy equipment operator. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Mary Elizabeth Baker Conley, in 2001. Surviving are his children, Mary Beth Conley of Union Beach and her fiancé, Dalton Graham, Francine Carpenella and her husband, Joseph, of Hollywood, Fla., Cheryl Caputo and her husband, Wayne, of Philadelphia, and William Conley of Hollywood, Fla.; his sisters and brothers, Betty Ditner of Manalapan, Jack Conley and his wife, Lois, of Howard Beach, N.Y., Rich Conley of North Carolina, Diane Christiano of Union Beach, and Michael Conley of Union Beach; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends. A prayer service was held at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hazlet.
