Backpacks for the Backpack Buddies program will also be collected. The St. Joseph Council of the Knights of Columbus hosted its annual Volunteer’s Dinner on June 26 honoring members and nonmembers who supported the council during the year. Also honored were the emergency services for the township of Hazlet.

During the event, the council presented three scholarships to area students. The scholarship recipients are: Courtney O’Connor, Samantha Pellegrino and Bradley Derechailo.
