Mr. Yascur, 71, of Holmdel, died April 24, 2010, at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel. He lived in Hazlet for 25 years before moving to Keyport and then to Holmdel. Mr. Yascur, a U.S. Navy veteran, worked as a truck driver for Baxter in Edison for 25 years before retiring in 2004. Mr. Yascur was predeceased by his wife, Florence Yascur, and his father, John Michael Yascur. Surviving are his sons, Christopher Yascur of Staten Island, N.Y., and Michael Yascur and his wife, Andrea, of Charlotte, N.C.; his mother, Catherine Yascur of South Plainfield; his companion, Thea Heffernan of Edison; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.
