The Middletown United Methodist Church, 924 Middletown-Lincroft Road, will sponsor a chili cookout at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, to thank the first responders of the Lincroft Hose Company, River Plaza Hose Company and Lincroft Emergency Medical Services. The congregation invites members of the community to participate in this event.
The church has responded to the needs and recovery of Hurricane Sandy victims by delivering over 1,700 care packages and hosting recovery teams from around the country.
